چکیده

Abstract. Dry reforming of methane (DRM) is a trendy topic investigation as means reducing global warming. However, the adoption DRM for commercial purpose still question due to deactivation and sintering catalysts. The performance 5Ni/KCC-1 catalyst by using ultrasonic-assisted impregnation method was examined in this study. micro-emulsion were used prepare KCC-1 support respectively. characterized N2 adsorption-desorption field emission scanning electron microscopy (FESEM) techniques. FESEM morphology shows that experienced well-defined fibrous uniform microsphere which can promote high catalytic activity. results show has optimum with higher reactant conversions H2/CO ratio when operated at 850oC tubular furnace reactor compared 750oC.

A Novel Study of Methane-Rich Gas Reforming to Syngas and Its Kinetics over Semicoke Catalyst

A small-size gasification unit is improved through process optimization to simulate industrial United Gas Improvement Company gasification. It finds that the reaction temperature has important impacts on semicoke catalyzed methane gas mixture. The addition of water vapor can enhance the catalytic activity of reforming, which is due to the fact that addition of water vapor not only removes carbo...

Dry Reforming of Coke Oven Gases Over Activated Carbon to Produce Syngas for Methanol Synthesis

The dry reforming of coke oven gases (COG) over an activated carbon used as catalyst has been studied in order to produce a syngas suitable for methanol synthesis. The primary aim of this work was to study the influence of the high amount of hydrogen present in the COG on the process of dry reforming, as well as the influence of other operation conditions, such us temperature and volumetric hou...

High Coke-Resistance Pt/Mg1-xNixO Catalyst for Dry Reforming of Methane

A highly active and stable nano structured Pt/Mg1-xNixO catalysts was developed by a simple co-precipitation method. The obtained Pt/Mg1-xNixO catalyst exhibited cubic structure nanocatalyst with a size of 50-80 nm and realized CH4 and CO2 conversions as high as 98% at 900°C with excellent stability in the dry reforming of methane. The characterization of catalyst was performed using various ki...

Dry Reforming of Methane Using Cold Plasma; Kinetic Model Study

In this work, the dry reforming of methane was studied using a corona and gliding discharge plasma microreactors. A chemical kinetic model was developed to describe the experimental behavior observed. The kinetic model is proposed based on the assumption that the reactant molecules CH4 or CO2 are attacked by active species produced b...
